I know I promised =
madfairy7 that I'd do a hand-written journal, but I haven't had the time to scan it, and after I wrote it, quite a few things happened. This has been the most eventful month ever, not a good thing nor a bad thing.
First off, yes, I know that I'm very far behind on the flash fictions. I still have to do ones for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and now the 7th. I have been working a shit ton last week and this. Which, it's not really a bad thing because I need to get the money to pay off my college. The reasons why are kind of... sad. On the day we decided to celebrate my birthday, the 1st of July instead of the 2nd, my friend's grandmother died. So I had to work Saturday (the 4th) for her. I didn't mind it, and it seems she didn't mind either because her and her family were getting drunk all day. As she told me, they solve their problems by alcohol. Hey, whatever works, right? Well, I thought that things were going to be alright, but no. On the night of the 4th, my good friend Chase was partying with some people at a beach, when one of his best friends, I forgot her name, committed suicide by drowning herself. Someone tried jumping in to save her, but when they got to her, it was too late. The day after that, his good friend Paul was heavily drinking and over dosed on some sort of medication. He found his friend dead on his couch in the morning. I feel extremely sorry for him having to deal with such a rude awakening like that in life. He's a really sweet guy, and I'm the kind of person who will hug my friends until they stop crying, but he's not going to be at work for a while. We're hoping that he doesn't do anything stupid, because no one here wants his 3 year old daughter going through the lost of her father because he was (in the words of my manager, Jim) "doing something stupid". So Jim said he should be spending time with his family and friends during a time like this. I really hope things perk up for him. He's really been having a rough time.
On top of that, my aunt is back in the hospital because he pneumonia is coming back. She's not in intensive care though, which is good, but just in a regular room. I'm really hoping she gets better. I'm tired of her going back to the hospital.
Well, those six days into July were rough, but we've gotta keep on moving. Just remember that when things get to heavy or your head gets too cloudy, take time to stop and breathe in the fresh air around. Kind of like that saying, "Stop and smell the flowers". I love that saying. It's beautiful and true.
Working six days in a row is also fun, but tiring. I haven't had much time to talk to people, and my dA has been flooding.

I have a lot of reading to do. I have quite a few stories to read from many clubs and friends. So when things slow down, and I have a chance to get a good deep breath, I'm going to read through all the written submissions.

(Yes, I've just been going through and looking at the non-literature because it's quick...

) Don't think I've forgotten to check them though. As a matter of fact, my first day off is Wednesday, so I plan on checking everything then.

Hmm. I can't think of anything else to add, but I figure a quick update as to what's been happening for the last couple of days was a good idea. Just letting you all know I'm still here.

Just busy. Teehee.
Have a wonderful week, all. ♥ Lots of love and warm wishes.
Sincerely
~Dani

Oh Dani, I got a new cell phone. Mine finally died completely. Well, could you text me your cell number?? It's on my other phone which is 100% dead. I can text a LITTLE bit but not a lot.
Anywho, I hope you had a happy holiday.
Thank you so much!
